These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JatakaGPT, including our website, application, and related features (together, the "Service"), operated by JatakaGPT ("Company", "we", "us", "our") [VERIFY: insert registered legal entity name and business address]. By creating an account, checking the consent box at signup, or otherwise accessing or using the Service — including as an anonymous or guest user — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or otherwise use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
JatakaGPT lets you create birth-chart profiles and run compatibility (Guna Milan) comparisons using another person's birth details. If you submit birth information about anyone other than yourself, you confirm that you have that person's consent (or, for a minor, that you are their parent or legal guardian) to provide their data for this purpose, and you are solely responsible for obtaining it.
When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us promptly at support@jatakagpt.com of any unauthorized use.
You may also use parts of the Service without registering, as an anonymous guest. Guest sessions are subject to usage limits (such as a maximum number of conversations and questions per conversation) that we may change at any time, and guest accounts with no activity for 30 days may be automatically deleted.
You can delete your profiles, conversations, and calendar notes at any time from Settings, or by contacting us at the email above.
JatakaGPT provides Vedic astrology (Kundali) interpretation, AI-generated conversational guidance, Panchang and timing context, and compatibility analysis, for informational and entertainment purposes only.
JatakaGPT does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and nothing in the Service constitutes professional advice of any kind. Astrological interpretation is not scientifically validated, AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete, and we do not guarantee any outcome, prediction, or result. Any decisions you make based on the Service are made at your own discretion and risk, and remain entirely your own.
You agree not to:
"Your Content" means the birth details, profiles, chat messages, and calendar notes you submit to the Service. You retain ownership of Your Content.
You grant Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and use Your Content — including by sending it to the third-party AI and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. We do not make Your Content public. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except where retained copies already exist in routine backups for a limited period.
If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, you agree we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
The Service, including the JatakaGPT name and branding, software, user interface, and underlying astrology engine and methodology, is owned by Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at support@jatakagpt.com.
The Service relies on third-party providers — including AI/language-model providers, place and timezone lookup services, and hosting and monitoring infrastructure — described in more detail in our Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for these third parties, and your use of any linked or integrated third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms.
The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid subscriptions or premium features in the future. If we do, the applicable pricing, billing cycle, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase and will require your separate acceptance before any charge is made. Unless stated otherwise at that time, paid plans will auto-renew until cancelled, cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing period, and fees already billed are non-refundable except as required by law.
These Terms apply from the time you first access the Service until terminated as described here. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if required by law. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID COMPANY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD 100 (OR THE EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY). THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Company and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) Your Content, including birth information about a third party submitted without the consent or authority described in Section 1; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator seated in [VERIFY: city, e.g. Bengaluru], conducted in English. Either party may instead bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court. Disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only; you and Company each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory right or protection that cannot be waived under the law of your place of residence, including the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
